BowPad

From a functionality point of view, you need to know that BowPad is a text editor that features syntax highlighting for over 100 file types and languages. From a visual point of view, you need to know that BowPad has a ribbon interface and features a light and dark theme for this ribbon interface.

BowPad works with Windows 7 or later. So if you have a PC powered by Windows 7 or Windows 8, BowPad will work without any problems. But if you have a PC powered by XP for example, BowPad will not work. So to recap, BowPad needs Windows 7 or newer to work.

As previously mentioned, BowPad has a ribbon interface – buttons for all the settings, features, and functions are presented on a ribbon at the top on the application’s interface. With a simple mouse click (look for the button in the upper right hand corner) you can hide the ribbon out of sight.

Also as previously mentioned, BowPad features a light and a dark theme for the interface. By default, BowPad uses the light theme. Click a button on the ribbon and you can switch from the light to the dark theme.
It must be mentioned here that the BowPad interface provides support for multiple languages. So to sum it all up, BowPad has a ribbon interface that features themes and provides support for multiple languages.
